visiting the markets in a little town like dalat can be a great source of insight into the daily lives of the people around you. i always like to check out the candies and the fruits to see what's weird and delicious!!

we spent the first afternoon in saigon wandering through the pagodas~ buddhism is a big part of vietnamese culture and everything is so lush right now that these little labyrinths are so alive

in dalat, you have to take a cable car to get to the temple on the other side of the jungle~ i'm a little scared of heights but i was willing to take the risk to reach that oasis on the other side. i'm not religious but anyone can feel at peace in a place like this

we got here on a rainy morning, but the city was too charming to ignore~ we took a walk around the town and found wet, moldy, pure magic, and some brooown silty water
