my town has a christmas tree lighting every year after thanksgiving~ it's really sweet and homey and everyone you know is always there... and it's good to know that no matter how far away i go, home still feels like home.

Mika and I took the Fung Wah bus up to Boston for a few days so that she would get a chance to see the city before going back to Japan. It sucked that it rained the whole time, but the Christian Science Center was as beautiful as ever.

in boston, me and mika stayed with my best friend jan, who just haaappens to live in a castle... we missed the train into downtown, but didn't really mind because we got to have a silly photoshoot at the castle instead!

in new york, everything's BIG, even the food!!! good thing mika can consume more than any human i have ever known (and stay skinny doing it!! wwwtttfff)

mika wants to come to nyc to study next year, so she came to visit me and check it out! soo excited to be reunited with such a sweet old friend. unfortunately she seems to have come for the coldest week ever, but we're still gonna see all the sites!! starting with the brooklyn bridge...

went to see the jeff koons exhibit on the roof of the met~ i love that garden; it's the best way to enjoy art and with the fantastic nature of koons' art, my afternoon on the roof was soo lovely
